With the equipment installed Wavemaker G3, produced by Guided Ultrasonics Ltd (UK), company obtains a complete picture of the metal tube without removing the insulation; without digging and pavement of roads and railways; without taking the pipeline out of service.

Setting converters on pipe sections up to 0.5 m wide, there is controlled state of the pipeline at a distance of 100 m on each side of the installation site. The results of monitoring the pipeline length of several tens of meters can be obtained within a few minutes.

The use of eddy current inspection method using eddy current flaw detectors MIZ-27SI, manufactured by ZETEC (USA), allows you to monitor a large number of heat exchanger tubes in the shortest possible time without sacrificing quality of results.

During control with a high degree of accuracy there is determined by the value of thinning of pipe, the presence and magnitude of corrosion damage, identifies defects such as cracks on the outer and inner surface of the metal, which allows the calculation of residual life of the equipment and to avoid unplanned stoppages of equipment, and economic losses due to unplanned repairs.
